While there is often a varying degree of availability at different sweepstakes sites, Scratchful is available to most players in the US, as long as they are at least 18. Scratchful operates by offering its players risk-free fun. Players can choose to play with free GC or premium SC, with the latter able to be redeemed for Cash Prizes and Gift Cards as long as players have enough eligible Coins in the bank.

The Scratchful SC redemption requirements are in line with or better than the industry standard. While all SC must be wagered at least once before they can be redeemed for real cash prizes at a rate of 1:1, the 50 SC minimum requirement at this casino is half the industry average of 100 SC.

While I was able to boost my account balance with coin purchases (more on that later), this is by no means mandatory. There are numerous bonuses on offer that allow players to boost their GC and SC totals without spending any real money at all.

Scratchful’s bonus incentivesare well-designed, and cater to existing players just as much as new players. Right from the start, players can receive a free welcome bonus of 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC. While this is a great deal in itself, I was especially impressed when I found out this bundle is normally worth $24.99.

I found that existing players have plenty of incentives to stick around. Scratchful rewards its existing players’ loyalty with a daily login bonus and social media promotions. The casino also offers a generous referral bonus to players who bring in new accounts.

Our Feedback: The amount of bonuses at Scratchful is simply incredible, as is their generosity. All new players are given a no deposit bonus of 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC, and I realized why the bonus was so generous when I saw the size of the casino library. I absolutely needed every coin. Although the first purchase bonus wasn’t mandatory, I couldn’t resist the excellent deal, and I put the full amount to excellent use once my welcome bonus ran out.

I was also excited to see the casino’s range of tournaments, as it stoked my competitive edge as well as promising large amounts of coins.

The only thing stopping me from giving out a perfect score here is the fact that there is no VIP Program, but I really hope that changes soon.

Scratchful’s games selection is incredibly impressive, with over 1,000 titles to enjoy including Slots and Scratch-Offs. Even better, these come from major players in the iGaming industry such as Novomaticand Netent.

I was disappointed to find no Table Games or Live Dealer titles, but there was more than enough here to keep me entertained regardless. What’s more, I was particularly impressed with the categorization of the many games, plus the fact that the casino compiles all your favorites into one area for you.

My gameplay experience overall was very enjoyable. In particular, I really liked the fact that the casino allowed me to personalize my gaming experience as I saw fit, with a variety of stakes and volatility levels to choose from, as well as the standard option of playing with both SC and GC.

The array of games was also impressive. I was particularly pleased with Pragmatic Play’s selection, as every one of their 400+ titles had an RTP rate of over 95%.

While there’s no demo option here, the ability to play with Gold Coins means there’s really not much need for it.

Online Slots

Scratchful’s casino team has clearly directed most of its efforts to Online Slots, with popular titles like Wolf Gold, Sugar Rush and Gates of Olympus available to enjoy. While I’d highly recommend those games if you don’t know where to start, don’t feel obligated to start there. There are so many entertaining Slots to choose from, and you can play for as little as 0.2 SC per spin, all the way up to 100 SC if you’re in search of major wins.

Scratch-Offs

Scratch-Offs take the popular Scratch Card games online, with over 18 of them available to enjoy at Scratchful. Given the casino’s name, I wasn’t really surprised that this category of games was made available.

While the RTP rate of the Scratch Cards was a bit underwhelming at around 90%, the low 0.2 SC minimum requirement for many titles helped make up for this.

9/10: The games library is impressive, but the lack of Card Games and Table Games is a let down.

Our Feedback: Scratchful’s huge library is easily its best feature, not only thanks to the sheer size of it but also the prevalence of major developers. The only thing stopping me from giving this section a perfect score is the lack of Live Dealer titles and Table Games.

While there are plenty of ways to make purchases at Scratchful, the same cannot be said for making a withdrawal. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all supported payment options, but withdrawals are unfortunately restricted to Bank Transfers and Gift Cards.

As is standard practice, players must wager their SC at least once before they can be redeemed for prizes. The minimum redemption requirements here are standard for Gift Cards at 10 SC, but the Cash Prize requirement is much lower than the industry average, with players needing a minimum of just 50 SC.

Payment Options Overview

Again I’d like to emphasize here that purchasing coin packages is completely optional, although as you can see below, they do offer great value for money. If you’re looking for a coin package outside of the first purchase bonus, I would say that the $19.99 bundle offers the best value for money.

Our Feedback: The banking options at Scratchful are largely positive, although there are some important caveats. While there are a decent number of purchase options, this doesn’t extend to e-wallets. We also would have liked to have seen more redemption methods besides Gift Cards and Bank Transfers, although these are par for the industry standard.

There are numerous factors that reinforce Scratchful’s status as a legitimate company. The casino is compliant with all the necessary sweepstakes laws, and also protects its customers through advanced security measures like SSL encryption.

The fact that numerous influential iGaming companies have partnered with Scratchful is also a major green flag. These businesses are incredibly selective about who they partner with, so as to avoid any reputational damage.

Responsible Social Gameplay

Scratchful takes Responsible Gambling seriously, as shown by the numerous measures in place to help its customers stay in control. I found I was able to set a daily spending limit very easily, and also saw that the casino allows players to cool off by selecting the “Take a Break” option that lasts for a few days. Players who feel like they need a longer time off can also opt for a Self-Exclusion, which starts at six months.

Our Feedback: Having looked at everything, I can safely say that Scratchful can be trusted. The casino employs up-to-date security protections, and the KYC process was detailed without taking too much of my time. The Responsible Gambling protocols are also standard, ensuring customers have the ability to protect themselves from developing problematic behaviors.

The only thing stopping me from giving a 10/10 score here is the fact that the casino is very young, which can be off-putting to some potential players.

I believe it is essential for a casino to offer the best possible customer support to its players. However, the offering at Scratchful could certainly be improved. The FAQ section isn’t as detailed as I would have liked, and it took a good few hours before I got a response to my contact form.

While there is a Live Chat option, this is locked behind a paywall. This is something I was not happy to see, as it gives off the impression that players are forced to make purchases they don’t want to in order to access proper customer support.

Customer Support Overview

7/10: While it has its good areas, the overall customer support needs significant improvement.

Our Feedback: I firmly believe that customer support should be the area a casino excels in the most. After all, if customers can’t rely on the casino to fix their issues, they are much more likely to go elsewhere. Which is why I was really let down by the offering at Scratchful. The Live Chat is locked behind a paywall, and I found the contact form inadequate if I imagined myself to be faced with a pressing issue.

However, the customer service offering isn’t all bad. There is a phone option for payment issues, I received a fast reply to my email queries, and I found the FAQ section helpful in troubleshooting small problems.

While the support may be a bit underwhelming, I’m pleased to say this is not the case for the user experience. The website is very well designed, and I encountered no lagging issues when I was trying to get around the website, as loading times were near instant.

Despite the vast array of games, the library was sorted very efficiently, and this absolutely went a long way to making my overall experience an enjoyable one.

Scratchful UI Overview

9/10: Scratchful’s platform works smoothly on all mobile and desktop devices, but the lack of an iOS app is disappointing.

Our Feedback: There’s hardly anything to fault when it comes to Scratchful’s UI. The website loads quickly, the categorization is very well done and navigating the site is easy.

However, I cannot give the UI a perfect score, as I would really like to see an iOS app added so that Apple users can enjoy the same benefits as Android users.

Scratchful has a number of sister sites to compete with including McLuck, Hello Millions, Jackpota and Mega Bonanza, but its comparative scores are a mixed bag. While it offers a more impressive games selection, this is not the case when it comes to its Table Games. However, the casino’s welcome bonus is very enticing, being only beaten by Hello Millions and PlayFame, and the fact that there is an Android app is also a big plus.

I really like the fact that Scratchful has so much to offer its players, from features to games and a modern website. In fact, the number of games from top iGaming providers is one of the largest I’ve seen at a sweeps casino.

However, there are a few notable improvements that I feel really need to be made as soon as possible. The customer support certainly needs working on, and I’d really like to see an iOS app made as well. Once these are fixed, the casino can move on to expanding its available payment options.
